BinarySync es una empresa de desarrollo web con sede en Beirut, Líbano, que trabaja con clientes de todo el mundo. Desarrollamos el software en el que se apoya una empresa y gestionamos la infraestructura que lo sustenta. Esta combinación es deliberada: el traspaso entre las personas que escriben el código y quienes lo operan es donde la mayoría de los proyectos pierde tiempo de forma silenciosa y donde la responsabilidad tiende a desaparecer. Nuestro trabajo abarca seis áreas. El desarrollo web y de aplicaciones es el núcleo: aplicaciones web personalizadas, plataformas SaaS, aplicaciones móviles y API creadas según una especificación, en lugar de ensambladas a partir de una plantilla. Cloud y DevOps cubren las canalizaciones, la orquestación de contenedores y los entornos en los que se despliegan esas aplicaciones. Redes e infraestructura, junto con los servicios de TI gestionados, cubren la capa subyacente: las redes, los servidores y las operaciones diarias que los mantienen en buen estado. La ciberseguridad atraviesa todo el conjunto, en lugar de quedar relegada al final. La integración empresarial y la automatización conectan los sistemas de los que una empresa ya depende, para que el nuevo software se incorpore al negocio en vez de funcionar a su lado. Antes de comenzar un proyecto, dejamos por escrito tres compromisos, elegidos porque un cliente puede comprobarlos realmente: Un Largest Contentful Paint inferior a 2,5 segundos en un teléfono Android de gama media mediante una conexión 4G. No una puntuación de laboratorio en un ordenador de sobremesa rápido, sino el dispositivo y la red que realmente tiene la mayoría de los visitantes. Accesibilidad WCAG 2.2 AA, comprobada manualmente y no solo mediante un escáner automatizado. Los escáneres detectan aproximadamente un tercio de las barreras reales de accesibilidad. Para el resto hacen falta un teclado, un lector de pantalla y alguien que preste atención. Tu código fuente en tu propio repositorio desde el primer commit. No hay ninguna entrega que negociar al final del servicio ni dependencia de nosotros para conservar aquello por lo que has pagado. Trabajamos de forma remota y de principio a fin, en inglés, francés y árabe, con clientes en Líbano, Oriente Medio, el norte de África, Europa y Norteamérica; básicamente, en todo el mundo.

Custom web applications, SaaS platforms and the APIs that hold them together, built for businesses that have outgrown spreadsheets or an off-the-shelf tool. Recent work includes a garage management system running twelve modules over an Express API, bilingual English and Arabic with genuine right-to-left layout, where services declare the materials they consume so a counter sale decrements stock automatically. Access control is enforced at the API rather than in the interface: hiding a menu item is a design choice, refusing the request is a security control, and only the second survives somebody opening the network tab.

The pipelines, container orchestration and environments applications actually get deployed into. Docker and Kubernetes, Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure as code, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI for delivery, Prometheus and Grafana for the part everybody skips until an incident. We do this for software we built and for software we did not. The reason we run both sides is that the handoff between the people who write code and the people who operate it is where projects quietly lose time, and where accountability tends to disappear.

Next.js, React, TypeScript and Node on the front, PostgreSQL or MongoDB behind it, deployed to Cloudflare or the cloud provider you already use. Three things go in writing before we start, because a client can check them: Largest Contentful Paint under 2.5 seconds on a mid-range Android over 4G, WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility tested by hand rather than by scanner alone, and your source code in your own repository from the first commit. Security is part of how the system is built rather than an audit bolted on at the end. Hardened deployments, least-privilege access enforced at the API rather than hidden in the interface, secrets kept out of source control, TLS and security headers configured properly, and dependency and patch management for the infrastructure underneath. We also do the unglamorous half: reviewing who actually has access to what, and removing the accounts nobody remembers creating.
