Let’s dive deeper into the technical aspects of Drupal. The Drupal CMS is increasingly moving towards becoming an API-first application. In layman’s terms, this means that Drupal is able to exchange data with other systems. Take for example digital signage systems, which can display detailed product information in showrooms or journey information inside train carriages. This type of signage system can be controlled via content editors or marketeers through Drupal. Teams publish their content using the same platform and in the same way they manage their photos and articles for regular websites.
