HistoriaWe started IPS Engineers in 2017 out of a clear conviction: research should directly improve industry. As a spin-off from the Institute of Production Systems at TU Dortmund, we built a team that speaks both languages — academic rigor and shop-floor reality. Early projects taught us to move fast: translate simulation results into practical line changes, turn data into actionable insights, and coach teams to adopt smarter workflows. Today we work hand-in-hand with customers to shape digital, ergonomic and resilient production environments. Our young, adaptive team thrives on solving the interface problems between innovation and application — and we still get energized by the moment when a model, a piece of software or a training session finally changes how people work for the better.
