So, you can imagine that it’s crucial your lost dog of cat can be identified asap as your dog or cat. By his chip. RCA launched (for the Department Environment of the Flemish government) the campaign ‘Check your chip’. It was a wake-up call for pet owners to check their pet’s chip, the accompanying personal contact information and to make them public. This was possible on the site www.checkjechip.be. Runaway, stray or missing cats and dogs that are correctly registered in the online database, can be united with their owners faster. We announced this campaign via a press moment with Minister of Animal Welfare Ben Weyts. Also, two tv-personalities supported the campaign as ambassadors and created extra publicity via social media, followed by a digital campaign via Facebook/Instagram and Youtube programmatic. Printed posters created extra awareness in vet’s offices.
