Studio Sitges, a 25 min drive from Barcelona airport, is a new purpose-built studio which raises the bar for all commercial photography and video venues, workshops and special events. It's excellent location, infrastructure and privacy have been designed by world-renowned architect TomKundig with the utmost care to accommodate the most demanding production requirement, becoming the perfect place for photo and video creating and for sharing artistic experiences and events. The two linked studios and service areas – totalling 800m2 in floor area and over 5 meters in height – can be combined if required. They have every supporting facility you would expect plus some that you wouldn’t. As a photo location, Sitges has no rivals if you want to produce your work in freedom and security with very few limitations. We are ideally located in the best area of Sitges with easy access to many locations with marvelous visual qualities for photo shoots and commercials. We can be helpful in acquiring permissions for shooting on the beaches, coast areas, natural parks and the town itself. That is why we think of Sitges as our very own Studio C. Even more, we can offer access to a huge variety of private locations. Many would be unavailable otherwise. Looking for contemporary homes? Country estates? Delightful hotels? How about a vintage racing circuit? Barcelona with its worldwide reputation is a mere 35 minutes away. We are equally qualified here to arrange all necessary facilities.

With its generous space and facilities Studio A is perfect for accommodating productions and sets on a considerable scale. The large sturdy 8x8m cyclorama with a wide perimeter allows you to move easily inside and outside of the shooting area.

The robust construction of concrete and steel beams can suspend and support lighting equipment, scenery and even people in a safe practical way up to a height of 5.3 metres.

All lighting, sound and temperature are controlled centrally to enhance the working environment. Having the makeup room next to the cyclorama provides for a more efficient workflow.

The two elevated areas - the client platform and the lounge/kitchen - survey the production area and can control it. After a long day's session, or for a refreshing break, there is a hotel-style room to rest in during the day or overnight. Studio A consists of a 210 square meter production area and also has a garage entrance, under-floor heating and air-conditioning, a pro Mixer with CD, iPod, mic, etc. PA monitors, DMX ceiling LED lights with controller, 16kW power sockets and lightning fast Wi-Fi throughout the whole studio.

The unique cyclorama that extends through the ceiling plus functional design gives STUDIO B a unique ambience. Many photographers find it to be their perfect work space. The carefully calculated proportions and the varied finishes on concrete walls and floor make every part of this studio into the perfect background. The studio dome - inspiring by its form and its beautifully crafted lighting - contains the dressing and makeup rooms which are adjacent to the cyclorama.

Like Studio A, this studio also has its own centralized control of ambient lighting, temperature and sound. Studio B is the perfect complement to Studio A during large productions that require two sets at the same time or alternatively a bigger production area.

To round off the wide-ranging facilities on offer at Studio Sitges, there’s a whole house to go with them. And what a house it is too. World-renowned American architect Tom Kundig chose this as his first European project. It is available as yet another production option, as part of a flexible arrangement, either on its own or with one or both studios. The house above ground is fully integrated with the studios below ground level. Space and light are the key themes and the house with its garden and the pool is the perfect set for an exclusive photo shoot.

To complement all this, and to add a touch of luxury, we have our own top-of-the-range Spa consisting of 30 square meters of shooting area an ancient Roman bath with rain shower and a full range of treatments and services available. The studio also has a yacht - the Peluni - available for production inquiries or leisure outings. Its an Italian 2015 1000hp Azimut Magellano 53 foot motor yacht moored a short drive away in the Sitges port of Aiguadolc.
