HistoriaWe founded Widescreen in 1995 in Hoeilaart with a simple belief: great journalism and compelling stories deserve cinematic care. Over the years we’ve become a small, agile team that lives between television studios and documentary sets. We handle shooting, editing and live event capture, and learned early how to deliver under pressure — whether a breaking news report or a scheduled FTP broadcast. Adopting HD workflows with FCP and Avid was a turning point that let us raise technical standards without losing editorial focus. We also saw a gap in practical training for press professionals, so we developed media training tailored to the press sector. Every project still feels personal: we care about clarity, speed and the integrity of the story.
