HistoriaWe founded XMSL extramediumsmallarge in Hamburg in 2004 because we believed design should do more than look good — it must carry a brand's strategy. From day one, led by Jörg Karow, we focused on turning complex challenges into clear, usable concepts. Our name — extramediumsmallarge — reflects that mindset: scalable, custom-fit solutions for any scope. We humbly grew from local briefs to international projects by listening, testing ideas, and insisting that creativity be paired with intelligence. There were projects that forced us to rethink processes and others that proved the power of simple, strategic design. Those moments made our hearts beat faster and still drive our work today.
